Camping by the Sea • Volcanic Wonderland with Island Views • Both Grass and Sealed Runways • Excellent Nearby Airfields To Explore • Seminars by Interesting Speakers • Shuttle vans between the airport and accommodation/dinner venues will be available. 

The camping site is adjacent to where aeroplanes will be parked, and is suitable for tents, camper vans and caravans. Caravans could be parked up in the Whakatane Aero Club carpark too if need be.

There will be a Saturday night gathering and meal at the Whakatane RSA, and the Wings Awards Dinner with guest speaker Andrew Gormlie on the Sunday Evening will take place at the Whakatane Golf Club.

Registration
Registration $35.00 per person (wife, husband or partner of registered member is free)

IMPORTANT When you register, if your wife/husband/partner is attending with you but is a non-flying participant, just tick one registration ticket, rather than two.

Also note, if you intend to buy meals at the event, make sure you tick off all the meals when you register. You won't be charged now, they are pay as you go, but the stats from the registration help us know how much food to order per meal. This also goes for registering your interest in Fly Aways.

Wings Awards
If you have completed and flown a new homebuilt aircraft since the 2023 Annual Fly-In, you can register for your Wings Award, to be presented at the Wings Award Dinner. Please fill in the form here

Mogas
The Whakatane Aero Club will make some fuel cans available. Following completion of transport runs, any people requiring Mogas can be driven to the nearby fuel station where they can purchase fuel using the cans provided. Talk with the van drivers to arrange this.

PLEASE NOTE: The Saturday Night Dinner at the RSA has been cancelled. But local Andrew Broxholme has put together THIS sheet of suggested Whakatane restaurants and eateries in case you'd like to book a table elsewhere. Individuals who are club members will still be welcome at the RSA.
