SAANZ Chapters
What a Chapter is and how to make contact with aircraft enthusiasts in your area.
Chapter membership information
Members of a chapter are not required to be SAANZ members, although it is encouraged.
Similarly SAANZ members are not required to join a chapter.
Most chapters have a membership subscription that is independent of the SAA membership subscription.
Chapters are made up of local groups of SAANZ members and aircraft enthusiasts.
Chapters may participate in all Association events and activities.

Auckland Chapter
The Auckland Chapter meets at the club rooms of the Model Engineers Society next door to the Waipuna Hotel at 7:30pm on the last Thursday of every month except for December. Visitors are always welcome. Auckland Chapter has a $25 per member annual fee that includes access to the Chapter library and access to shared tools. The chapter has its own website: www.saaauckland.org.nz To join the Auckland Chapter contact the Secretary.

Hawkes Bay Chapter |

The Hawkes Bay Chapter does not have regular monthly meetings. They have two formal meetings per year, the AGM & the Christmas BBQ. Any other get-togethers are usually of a social nature on an informal basis as organised by our social convenor. |

Wellington Chapter |
|
The Wellington Chapter meets on the last Friday of each month, generally at the home of a member who is currently engaged in building an aircraft. Meetings commence around 7.30pm or when enough people have arrived. Any other "socialising" generally takes place at the Chapter hangar at Paraparaumu aerodrome, usually on Sundays. |
