Alternative Weather Stations
Description: This website has been set up by Barry Clark of the North Shore Aero Club and provides access to alternative weather stations to help fill the gaps in information provided by Metflight and IFIS. He has recently added a network of web cams to give a view of many area's of interest. Most cameras are in the South Island covering locations such as Hanmer Springs,Arthurs Pass, Mt Cook, Lake Tekapo, Wanaka, Queenstown, and many others.  North Island Cameras include Mt Taranaki, Taupo, Mt Ruapehu, Mt Ngauruhoe, etc.
